I am a textile designer, focusing on the combination of both hand and machine embroidered textiles. Material exploration is an important part of my practice. Every material is carefully considered using different weights and qualities with a variation of mediums to create a contrast. This hand-made quality, combined with the process of detailed embroidery techniques, draws inspiration from the landscape, environment and the members of the community.

I obtained my Postgraduate at the Royal College of Art, studying textiles, specialising in Mixed-Media and graduating in 2017. During my time in education I was supported by the Edward Sharp award, The Eaton Fund and the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers. I was also selected as one of twenty groups and individuals from the Royal College of Art students and alumni to attend Innovation RCA. The launchpad course helps transform compelling ideas into successful businesses and to strengthen the culture of design innovation and entrepreneurialism.

I am currently developing made-to-order accessories, bespoke commissions for private clients, and freelance for couture and high-end fashion designers. I have also created embroidered textile swatches, selling directly to companies internationally. I am based in Cockpit Arts Incubator in London, after winning the Radcliffe Craft Development Award 2018. During my time there I have designed a new line of embroidered luxury accessories and hope to expand it in the near future. I am also a visiting Tutor at Loughborough University for First and Second year Students, studying the Textiles Course. I currently stock my products at Open Studios in Cockpit Arts, Messums Wiltshire, online in the U.S. and on my website. Paypal and Stripe payments are accepted.
